Iraq.. 10 killed and 30 injured in an explosion in Sulaymaniyah in the north of the country

Baghdad: Ten people were killed and 30 injured when a gas cylinder exploded in a residential area in the northern Iraqi city of Sulaimaniyah, Sulaimaniyah Governor Hawal Abu Bakr said on Friday.

He added that 13 people were still trapped under the debris and a three-day state of emergency had been declared.

Yesterday, Thursday 11/17/2022, firefighters managed to douse a fire in a residential area after a gas cylinder exploded and police said the fire damaged several houses and destroyed at least five cars.

At least three houses were completely destroyed due to the explosion of a cooking gas cylinder installed on the roof of a house, police officials said.
